Binding polyurethane resin for stone carpets
High quality and clear, two-component polyurethane resin. Suitable as a binder when added to the quartz aggregates QUARTZ DECO. Once cured, it creates a finish product with solid mass that is compact and flexible, that is also resistant to UV radiation. The mixture of the resin QUARTZ DECO PU with the QUARTZ DECO aggregates in grain sizes from 0.1-8mm, is ideal for the creation of slip resistant stone carpets with an exceptional aesthetic value, that can also withstand any abrasion created by foot and vehicle traffic. The mixture of the resin QUARTZ DECO PU with the QUARTZ DECO aggregates in grain sizes up to 2mm, can also be applied to walls and stairs, provided that the surfaces are coated (primed) with the two-component EPOXY PUTTY.

Mixing ratio-Consumption:
Depending on the coating thickness of the product, the grain size and the shape of the QUARTZ DECO aggregates. A general rule of thumb for the user is that each aggregate bag mixes with an entire resin container.
Specifically:
For grain sizes from 0.1- 2mm and coating thickness of 6mm, the consumption rate of the quartz aggregates is 9kg/m² and the mixing ratio of resin to quartz aggregates is 12.5/100. For grain sizes from 2-8mm and from 8mm-10mm coating thicknesses, the consumption rate of the quartz aggregates is 12-15kg/m² and the mixing ratio of resin to quartz aggregates is 10/100.
Minimum recommended application thickness:
6mm for grain sizes from 0.1-2mm, 8mm for grain sizes from 2-4mm and 10mm for grain sizes from 4-8mm. - Packaging
