Pioneering Green Energy and Reducing the Energy Footprint

At a time when climate change and the need to reduce energy consumption are in the foreground, DUROSTICK S.A. leads the way and sets an example with a series of initiatives aimed at reducing the energy footprint and promoting green energy.

We recently completed and commissioned a new 927.72 kWp photovoltaic project at our facility in Aspropyrgos, Attica. The project was connected to the main electricity Network, through a Net Metering system in April 2024, that covers a significant part of the company's energy needs, reducing our dependence on conventional energy sources.

This facility, which saves 564 tonnes of CO2 per year - an amount equivalent to the carbon dioxide sequestration of 25.500 mature trees - is part of our wider corporate strategy to reduce our environmental footprint and promote sustainable development. The assignment of the project to the company VIENDER SA, which has an impressive experience of 43 years and certifications according to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018, ensured its successful completion.

With this initiative, DUROSTICK S.A. seeks to promote energy independence and support the development of technologies that respect the environment. The use of photovoltaic systems is part of our commitment to sustainability, while allowing us to reduce the cost of electricity and enhance our environmental performance.

Our company is widely known for its high product quality and technological innovation. Our goal is the continuous research and development of new products that offer high-performance solutions to construction professionals.

At the same time, we seek to promote environmentally sustainable practices, providing products that contribute to enhancing energy efficiency and sustainability.

At DUROSTICK S.A., our commitment to a more sustainable future continues, and with our every action, we strive to make our world better and 'greener'.
