VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds): Limit value of maximum content of VOC per EU (Directive 2004/42 / EC) for this product (category A/i: ‘One-pack performance coatings, type WB): 140 gr/lt (2010). The ready to use product contains maximum 50 gr/lt VOC.

PROPERTIES

Water and oil repellent of nanomolar technology. Suitable for the protection and waterproofing of marble, granite and various materials, all exhibiting extremely low absorbency (for absorbent surfaces, use DUROSTICK NANO PROOF CERAMIC, DS-270). The product is suitable for vertical or horizontal surfaces, indoors and out.
It permeates deep into the surfaces due to the high penetrating action of the nanoparticles in its composition, and waterproofs them completely. This results to the protection of the surfaces from damage due to moisture, water and ice.
Surfaces also become impervious to household stains, smoke and nicotine as well as air pollution. Cleaning becomes noticeably easy, without the need for using strong detergents.
NANO PROOF MARMO DS-275, does not create a surface film; it does not shine or peel. It also does not yellow, and maintain the natural beauty and texture of the surfaces.
It is highly resistant to ultraviolet radiation, as well as to constant moisture and frost. It shields surfaces and prevents discoloration. It is waterborne thus odorless, user and environment friendly.

APPLICATION

NANO PROOF MARMO DS-275 provides long lasting protection to surfaces lined with extremely low absorbency materials, such as marble and granite.

USE

1. Surface preparation
Surfaces must be clean, dry and free of dust, salts, grease and any loose materials.
Ideally, use DUROSTICK biodegradable cleaner, BIOCLEAN for marble, granite and tile grouts.

2. Application
Using a brush, roller or airless spray gun, apply an even layer over the entire surface. After 10-15 minutes, remove any excess material that has not been absorbed using a damp, soft cloth.
When working with particularly more absorbent surfaces, apply a second coat 15 minutes after the first, for longer lasting protection.
Shake or mix well before use.
The product is ready for use and it does not get diluted.

CLEANING

Clean tools immediately after use with water and if necessary with soap or detergent solution.

CONSUMPTION

1lt/12-18m², depending on the absorbency of the surface.

STORAGE

Store in cool places, protected from frost for at least 24 months from production date.

SAFETY DIRECTIONS

The product needs no hazard labeling under current European and national legislation. However, it is recommended to keep away from reach of children. If swallowed, seek medical advice and show the container or label. Before use, refer to the cautions on the product packaging or the Material Safety Data Sheet.

NOTES

• The complete waterproofing of the surfaces will be achieved 24 hours after application.
• The product, after drying, is harmless to health and the environment.
