PROPERTIES

White color, solvent free siliconized sealant, with increased resistance to mold and mildew.
It provides strong adhesion to porous and not surfaces. It does not wear out and remains flexible for many years while being highly resistant to moisture.

APPLICATIONS

ACRYLAT is ideal for sealing joints in areas exposed to moisture and water vapors, such as the joints between the bathtub and the bathroom sink with the tiles (pic.1,2). For those joints, it acts effectively since it does not favor bacteria growth.
Recommended in bathroom applications for sealing joints in bathtubs, sinks, and toilets. Use it in the kitchen for a flexible seal between the sink and the countertop. Use it to seal cracks on slabs after their priming with AQUAFIX of DUROSTICK, prior to their waterproofing. Essential for every home, for flexible sealing and small jobs, available in practical packaging, tube of 330gr.

USE

1. Surface preparation
The substrate must be sound, free from dust, oil, and residues from old sealants. Before the application, all bathtubs, lavatories, tiles, and sinks, should be thoroughly cleaned and wiped with alcohol or white spirit, for increased adhesion.

2. Application
ACRYLAT adheres on the sides of the joints, without priming. Cut the tip according to the size of the joint. Apply by pressing on the tube lightly.
Apply masking tape before applying ACRYLAT, to avoid cleaning problems and residues. Remove the tape before the product sets completely.
Wet your finger and smooth the joints, within 15 minutes from the application.
Remove any residue with a damp sponge.

CONSUMPTION

One 330gr tube fills 5 linear meters of 5x5mm joint.

STORAGE

Store in places protected from moisture, for at least 12 months from production date.

SAFETY DIRECTIONS

The product needs no hazard labeling under current European and national legislation. However it is recommended to keep away from the reach of children. If swallowed, seek medical advice and show the container or label.

LIMITATION OF USE

Not recommended for surfaces permanently immersed in water. When painting over it outdoors, the use of elastomeric or acrylics paints, like D-80 HYDROSTOP ELASTIC and THERMOELASTIC COLOUR, is highly recommended to avoid cracking on the surface of the paint.
